Variety: CBS adds CSI:Baker Street to fall lineup

"CBS announced today that a fourth installment of its popular CSI franchise would be added to the skein's Friday night line-up beginning this September. CSI : Baker Street, set to star Anthony Head (Buffy the Vampire Slayer) as Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's famous fictional detective Sherlock Holmes. Oliver Platt (Deadline) will play Holmes' trusty side-kick Dr. Watson while TV vet Charlotte Rae (The Facts of Life) has been cast as the duo's wacky landlady Mrs. Hudson. Guest stars expected to appear in early episodes will include Bound's Gina Gershon as Irene Adler, Less Than Perfect's Partick Warburton as Brunton the Butler, Nathan Lane as Sherlock's brother Mycroft and TekWar's William Shatner as Inspector Lestrade."
